Image requirements

The editor accepts JPG, PNG, and WebP files. Photos from 360° cameras such as Insta360 work without other software. For a 360° Image, use an equirectangular photo, the 2:1 format that 360° cameras export.
A flat 2:1 equirectangular photo of a living room with the curved distortion typical of 360 camera exports
Shoot at full resolution. When you publish, Studio scales photos down to 4096 pixels on the longest side and prepares lightweight versions so rooms open quickly. A Flat Image is a regular photo, such as an aerial shot, a floor plan, or a detail. It can hold buttons that link into 360° rooms.

Adding a photo

Drag an image onto the drop zone that says Drag & drop a 360° or flat image, or click it to browse. When the editor asks What type of image is this?, choose 360° Image or Flat Image. To add more rooms, see Building a tour.
If the tripod shows up in a 360° photo, remove it with AI room editing.
