# Members and roles

> Invite people and control what each of them can do.

The **Team members** list in the **Team** tab of your settings shows everyone in your team, their email, and their role. Owners and admins use it to invite people and manage them.

## Inviting someone

Owners and admins click **Add member**, enter the person's email, and choose **Admin** or **Member**. The person must already have an account on studio.6ps.si. They are listed as **Pending** until they accept.

A person can belong to one team at a time. If the person is already in another team, or has already been invited to yours, the invite is not sent. An invite also needs a free seat. See [Seats and shared quota](https://docs.6ps.si/docs/teams/seats-and-quota.md#adding-a-member-past-your-seat-count).

## Accepting and declining

An invited person sees a **Team invite** window when they sign in, and the invite is also listed under **Pending invites** in their **Team** tab. They click **Accept** or **Decline**.

## Roles

The **Team members** list uses three roles.

| Role | What it can do |
| - | - |
| **Owner** | Everything an admin can do, plus changing other members' roles and removing admins. The person who creates the team is the owner. |
| **Admin** | Invites members, revokes invites, removes members, edits and deletes team content, and manages the team logo. |
| **Member** | Sees the team's projects in **My Team**. |

## Managing members

* **Change a role.** Only the owner can, from the **Role** column or the **Options** menu.
* **Remove someone.** Choose **Remove from team** in the **Options** menu. Owners can remove admins and members, and admins can remove members.
* **Revoke an invite.** Click the **x** on a **Pending** row.
